Concrete Metering Systems
Metering systems are used to even out natural surges of material from mix plants. Metering systems reduce surges while filling gaps.
They ensure that consistent material flow is delivered to main conveyor systems. They often provide backup or alternative material delivery methods, such as truck loading, too.
Metering systems can include some or all of the following:
- large conical hoppers
- wide, slow, extra-high capacity, variable speed conveyors
- emergency or truck loading chutes
- advanced electronic controls
